As part of the contribution of the tourism and handicraft sector to the revitalization of Algeria’s pavilion at the Dubai World Expo 2020; The third week of tourism and handicrafts is organized in the period from 04 to 11 February 2022, after two participations in the past two periods, respectively, 07-15 November and 12-27 December 2021.
Where a rich program was drawn up in coordination with the governorate of Algeria at the exhibition and various tourism actors from the tourism hotel complex and mineral baths, the Algerian National Tourism Corporation, the National Tourism Development Agency and the National Tourism Office aimed at highlighting the tourism components and capabilities of the destination of Algeria and aspiring to attract more dealers and tourists aliens.
In this context, the program includes several activities that represent the peculiarities of different regions of the country, embodied by the hotel-tourism and spa complex (HTT) through offers and programs offered by its affiliated tourism and hotel management institutions (Algeria, Annaba and Ghardaia), including, in addition to introducing the tourism and public mineral hotel acquisitions, a presentation For the art of cooking and tasting traditional Algerian dishes. The traditional industry will also have a space to organize live workshops for artisans from different fields, making artistic ceramics, ornaments, traditional products and sand paintings… to highlight part of the material heritage that is a civilizational, cultural and economic tributary.
The fair is also known as an offer to taste traditional sweets and dates.
With the continued promotion of tourism capabilities and diversity and the presentation of marketing programs and investment opportunities in the field, the Algerian pavilion will also witness a musical artistic activity from the revitalization of the “Al-Farda” troupe to introduce the Algerian cultural heritage.
