We share with you the official poster for the 7th edition of

the International Saharan Tourism Festival (FITS) - Timimoun.

This poster embodies the authenticity of Timimoun's heritage and the generosity of its people.

Dominating the poster is the main gate of Timimoun, inspired by the Bab Es-Sudan (Gate of Sudan) with its distinctive architectural style. This gate is one of the city's oldest landmarks and a historical symbol of the crossing of trade caravans through Gourara. It has been adopted in this promotional poster as a symbol of welcome, hospitality, and openness to the discovery of desert tourism through the gateway of Timimoun.

The second element is Ahellil of Gourara, represented by an image taken from the UNESCO website, in commemoration of the inscription of this ancient art on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2008 (following the submission of the file by Algeria in 2005), and as a testament to the authenticity and global nature of the cultural legacy of Timimoun Province.
