Third day of the organized exploratory trip to Bouira Province
Events of the exploratory journey organized by the National Tourism Office in collaboration with the Tourism and Handicrafts Directorate for the Wilaya of Bouira continue, with participation from representatives of national print, visual, and electronic media, aiming to highlight the unique tourism features of the region.
One of the earliest water cisterns in the region is the Al-Sur al-Ghazal (Water Cistern of the Shearing), a historical site dating back to the Roman period, still bearing witness to the ancient civilizations that successively influenced the area. The water cistern, with its remaining stone arches, tells visitors the story of architectural design, forming a tourist attraction that can be developed within the framework of cultural and historical tourism.
Then, the participants headed to Toubbet, a pristine area featuring breathtaking landscapes discovered for the first time by the accompanying journalists. Toubbet is renowned for its clean air and magical scenery, blending mountains and valleys, making it an exceptional tourist destination and a viable environmental trail suitable for promotion at both national and international levels.
At the end of day three, the destination was the Swayah Hom, a welcoming home nestled within the embrace of nature, where participants found a peaceful space reflecting the true essence of Algerian hospitality.
Through these diverse sites, it once again confirms that Bouira Province boasts natural, cultural, and historical treasures, making it one of Algeria's most promising tourist destinations.
Special thanks to ONAT institution for accompanying and contributing to the success of this trip.
