Second day of the discovery trip to Médéa for Yennayer 2976

Organized exploratory tour of the Medea province during the celebration of the Amazigh New Year 2976

Activities of the second day of the organized exploratory tour, taking place within the framework of the Amazigh New Year celebrations in January, began with a visit to the Medina of Médéa and the city market, where the press delegation was able to capture the atmosphere of preparations underway in the Médéa region for this occasion, and interact with popular celebration elements reflecting the depth of local cultural heritage.

In the evening session, the delegation was given the opportunity to visit a handicrafts exhibition dedicated to cultural heritage, coinciding with the official opening of the celebrations for the Amazigh New Year, under the supervision of Mr. Governor of Médéa, accompanied by Mr. Circle Director, in the presence of local authorities and various stakeholders in the sector.

During this occasion, the National Tourism Office presented a diverse range of promotional materials, alongside offering virtual tours to the general public, through a dedicated exhibition space introducing Algeria's tourist destinations.

The Office space was visited by the Governor of the region, who was given presentations on the missions of the National Tourism Office, as an agency entrusted with promoting tourism, as well as a presentation on the organized exploratory tour held during these celebrations, an initiative which the Governor praised, considering it a positive step toward promoting the destination.
