In line with the Government's tourism strategy aimed at implementing the "Algeria Tourism Vision 2030" plan, and in the context of strengthening promotional and international marketing efforts through participation in exhibitions and fairs, the tourism and traditional handicrafts sectors will take part in the second edition of the International China Cultural and Tourism Consumer Fair, from November 1 to 3, 2024, at the Changping Exhibition Hall, Beijing, People's Republic of China.
The tourism sector's participation in this event takes place within the framework of strengthening Algeria's involvement in international fairs and exhibitions in 2024, and in promoting efforts to highlight the country's tourism qualifications and capabilities.
Note: This exhibition promotes the integrated development of cultural and tourism industries as a whole, and this year it will focus on cultural-tourism interactions in China, particularly Beijing and its resources and innovations, as well as on tourism integration.
The previous edition, featuring more than 350 institutions and companies from 18 countries worldwide.
For these reasons, and to ensure a distinguished participation, the sector will take part through a showcase booth, promoting Algeria's tourism destinations through all promotional and marketing tools highlighting various tourism aspects, historical and cultural landmarks, as well as video presentations featuring Algeria's key tourist attractions.
Some handicrafts, dates, and traditional sweets will also be presented to visitors at the Pavilion, to promote part of Algeria's rich culture and introduce visitors to Algerian traditions.
