Participation of the Office in the International Fair for Hotel and Restaurant Equipment in Oran

The National Tourism Office (ONT) will participate in the activities of the International Fair for Hotels, Restaurants, and Services (HOSTEX 2026), which was inaugurated on January 21, 2026 and will run until January 24, 2026, at the International Convention Center in the city of Oran, through a dedicated exhibition booth promoting Algeria's tourism destination.

The opening ceremony of the salon was attended by a representative from the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, alongside representatives from local authorities.

The first edition of the National Hostex 2026 featured approximately 50 exhibitors from different regions of the country, representing producers and manufacturers involved in various sectors related to hospitality, food, and tourism services.

The participation of the National Tourism Office in this event aims to promote Algeria's tourist destination and encourage locally organized salons and demonstrations, considering them as important platforms for showcasing national potential and supporting the tourism movement.

The choice of Oran to host this event holds particular significance, especially given the city's recent achievements in awards and recognitions across tourism, cultural, and organizational fields, reflecting its status as a distinguished urban tourism destination. Today, Oran ranks among Algeria's most attractive cities for tourism, thanks to its rich cultural and historical heritage, diverse tourism offerings, and its ability to host major national and international events.

These campaigns also allow the Algerian public to discover the diverse tourism features of different regions of the country, through promotional materials and tools that the Office carefully distributes to visitors, thereby promoting domestic tourism and enhancing the image of Algeria as a tourist destination.
