Marketing Days 19 and 20 November 2025 El Aurassi Hotel, Algeria

Under the aegis of Ms. #HouriaMeddahi, Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, events for the Hotel Marketing Campaign dedicated to Saharan tourism took place on November 19 and 20, in its seventh edition, organized at the Asian Hotel by RH Communication.

This event featured several lectures actively organized by various stakeholders, including Ms. Director of Information Systems and Statistics at the Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industries, who opened the session with a presentation on digitization within the sector as a key enabler for its development. Representatives from the National Tourism Office (ONT), the Hotel, Tourism, and Mineral Baths Complex (GHTT), the Ministry of Finance and Customs, the Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion, and tourism experts discussed topics related to tourism development using artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and introduced several digital applications specifically for promotion, bookings, incentives, and investment facilitation in the tourism sector.

In this context, the Office participated in this event through a presentation covering the strategy of domestic tourism and marketing of Algeria, particularly Saharan tourism.

As well, the days saw the participation of valuable students from the National Higher School of Tourism who took advantage of this opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the transformations taking place in the tourism sector and the tourism and traditional handicrafts ministry's strategy, which places great emphasis on training as a key factor in enhancing Algeria's competitiveness as a tourism destination, as well as on the role of emerging institutions. These students provided particularly valuable contributions regarding the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence.
