In the framework of promoting the Saharan tourism product, the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, under the supervision of the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, will organize the sixth (06) edition of the International Saharan Tourism Festival, from November 14 to 17, 2024, in the Wadi region. This event will effectively enhance the tourism appeal of the region, while reinforcing the foundations for the development of this economic activity across all Saharan regions, by highlighting and promoting the Saharan tourism product as the cornerstone of Algerian tourism.

The choice fell on the Wilaya of the Wadi, "the city of one thousand domes and domes," to host this important event, given its status as a premier tourist destination, thanks to its diverse range of tourist facilities, in addition to

About its material and intangible heritage and the customs and traditions of the people in the region.

This international annual event will feature a wide range of tourism, cultural, artistic, and sporting activities that highlight the various provinces of the southern region, promoting Algeria's rich, diverse, and abundant Saharan tourism products. We anticipate participation from local and international stakeholders in the tourism and handicrafts sectors.

The festival will provide participants and visitors with the opportunity to explore the beauty of the Saharan landscape and share their experiences as a platform for exchanging ideas and expertise in the field of Saharan tourism, through the Saharan Tourism Salon or the scientific forum organized during the event.
