Press statement
The tourism and traditional handicrafts sector concludes its participation in international meetings and tourism exhibitions scheduled for 2025, with its first-time involvement in the 19th edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair TTI in Izmir, Turkey, represented by the National Tourism Office and a delegation of general and private tourism operators, from December 3 to 5, 2025.
This participation aims at opening up and penetrating new promising tourism markets, as well as promoting and marketing Algeria's tourism product and its distinctive features in the Turkish tourism market.
It should also be noted that this salon is among the most important tourism exhibitions organized in Turkey, with the previous edition (2024) featuring 282 exhibitors from 61 countries, alongside 2,000 tourism institutions, attracting 12,000 visitors and 100 journalists, over a total exhibition area of 6,505 m².
This salon is the largest tourism platform in Turkey, where this edition will feature a distinguished presence through the participation of the most prominent professionals and industry leaders from the tourism sector worldwide. This exhibition will serve as a space for exchange, partnership building, and showcasing successful tourism experiences by Turkish tourism operators.
Within the framework of this event, the National Tourism Office (ONT) secured a 50 m² exhibition space to host the Algerian Pavilion, which was designed and equipped with all necessary tools to promote Algeria's tourism destinations. This promotion will rely on printed and digital brochures in English, which will be distributed throughout the Algerian Pavilion. Additionally, members of the participating delegation will ensure to provide visitors with all relevant information and explanations during their visit to the Algerian Pavilion.
In addition, visitors will be able to take three-dimensional virtual tours to discover some of Algeria's tourist areas.
