Algeria
Participating for the first time at the International Tourism Salon TTG Travel Experience – Rimini (Italy)
A manifestation of the work program of the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, and within the framework of efforts to enhance Algeria's tourism destinations on both regional and international levels, the National Tourism Office will, for the first time, participate in the International Tourism Pavilion TTG Travel Experience, scheduled to take place from October 8 to 10, 2025, at the International Exhibition Center in the city of Rimini – Italy.
This initiative aims to present Algeria's diverse tourism and cultural assets, highlight the variety of its tourism offerings, and strengthen cooperation opportunities with various international stakeholders, particularly in the European market, while reinforcing Algeria's image as a promising destination on both the mid-range and global tourism scenes.
TTG Travel Experience is Italy's leading professional tourism salon, organized annually by Italian Exhibition Group, and is a reference international platform bringing together industry players, experts, and professionals in the tourism sector.
The 2024 edition of this event witnessed a significant increase in the number of visitors compared to 2023, thanks to the participation of 55 young startups presenting new solutions and innovations in the tourism sector, alongside over 200 activities involving more than 250 international experts and professionals.
In this context, the National Tourism Office reserved a wing within the hall, specifically designed to reflect the cultural and historical authenticity of Algeria, with a focus on the Saharan and cultural aspects as a distinctive symbol of national tourism identity.
During this participation, promotional paper and digital materials will be presented, including brochures, leaflets, and introductory videos, enabling visitors and professionals to discover the diverse tourist destinations of Algeria.
A dedicated space will also be allocated for promoting Algerian archaeological and Roman tourism, considering that Algeria ranks second globally after Italy in terms of richness and diversity of Roman archaeological sites, representing a cultural and tourism meeting point between the two countries.
The Algerian Pavilion will offer visitors the opportunity to take virtual three-dimensional tours of some of Algeria's notable tourist destinations.
Alongside the Office, Algerian tourism operators will be present, showcasing their tourism programs and holding bilateral working meetings with their Italian counterparts from travel agencies and tour operators, aiming to strengthen partnerships and professional cooperation in the tourism sector.
Musicians and a musical group will also participate to energize the pavilion.
International media meetings will also be scheduled to highlight Algeria's tourism potential.
