This exhibition, featuring participation from over 320 exhibitors from tourism institutions and private and public entities, as well as related sectors such as transportation, traditional industries, digitization, and other fields, also includes exhibitors from 27 friendly and neighboring countries.

This salon is the most prominent international event in the field of tourism and travel in Algeria, and represents one of the key platforms for promoting Algeria as a destination, serving as a space for sharing experiences and strengthening partnerships among all stakeholders in the tourism sector.

In her speech, Madam Minister emphasized that the state is ensuring the promotion of a conducive environment for developing tourist destinations, encompassing all their components, and focusing on positioning the tourism sector as an alternative economic sector generating wealth and creating employment opportunities. This is achieved by providing all necessary conditions in line with the strategic vision of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmalek Toubou, to encourage investments and support the tourism and traditional handicrafts sectors, making them a genuine driver of economic growth. This vision was realized through various incentive measures, including the revision of legal provisions governing investment and visa procedures upon arrival, as well as the digitalization of the sector and the promotional use of Algerian tourism potential through media campaigns.

In this context, Madam Minister stated that Algeria, thanks to its geographical, natural, cultural, and historical diversity, possesses all the qualifications to become one of the most important tourist destinations in the Mediterranean region, and that the current priority is to achieve tourism renewal in Algeria through collaborative efforts among all stakeholders, by supporting emerging institutions, and by investing in tourism infrastructure, which is the main objective of organizing this salon, which the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts aims to make an effective platform for meetings, promotion, cooperation, and sustainable partnerships.
