Algeria is participating in the 2025 Global Expo Osaka-Kansai, Japan, which launched today, April 13, 2025, and will run until October 13, 2025, under the theme: "Designing the Future Society for Our Lives".
This strategic participation is overseen by the Governor of Algeria at the exhibition, Mr. Abdelhak Boughandoura, and supported effectively by several ministerial sectors and national institutions, alongside a rich technical and cultural presence aimed at highlighting Algeria's urban, cultural, and economic image.
The Algerian Pavilion will host a diverse range of events and activities, including informational exhibitions covering various sectors such as foreign affairs, internal affairs and local communities, energy, culture and arts, postal and transportation services, industry and pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, housing, trade, transportation, tourism, traditional handicrafts, health, irrigation and environment. The pavilion will also organize workshops and meetings to explore investment and partnership opportunities with various economic stakeholders at the exhibition, alongside cultural and artistic performances by Algerian groups representing different regions of the country, showcasing the nation's cultural and heritage diversity.
The Osaka 2025 fair is one of the most prominent global events, expected to attract over 28 million visitors and participants from different countries around the world, offering Algeria a valuable opportunity to enhance its international presence and establish new partnerships across various fields.
