On the occasion of World Tourism Day, falling on September 27 every year, under the theme "Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence for Redesigning Tourism," the National Tourism Office (ONT) organized a diverse program at Dey’s Palace – Kasbah of Algiers, highlighting the importance of digitization and modern technologies in developing tourism and promoting Algeria as a destination.
The program included open doors to promote Algeria's tourism assets, answer visitors' inquiries, and a photo exhibition highlighting the country's natural, cultural, and heritage diversity, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the richness and variety of Algeria's tourism offerings.
The program also included a practical workshop on 360° photography and the production of digital tourism content, as well as a space introducing digitization and virtual reality technologies, offering visitors an interactive and innovative way to explore various Algerian tourist sites and landmarks.
