Algeria's participation in the Tourism & Travel Fair "Vakantibeurs 2026" in the Netherlands

Within the framework of implementing the tourism and traditional crafts sector strategy aimed at enhancing the positioning of Algeria's tourist destinations, through participation in international specialized and organized tourism events held in countries identified as promising markets for Algerian tourism, the sector, through the National Tourism Office (ONT), accompanied by a number of tourism operators, will take part in the 55th edition of the "Vakantibeurs" tourism and travel fair, scheduled to take place from January 8 to 11, 2026, at the Jaarbeurs Exhibition and Conference Center in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

The "Vakantibeurs" salon is one of the leading international exhibitions specializing in tourism and travel, serving as a reference platform for showcasing global destinations, and as a key professional space for networking and building international partnerships among tourism stakeholders.

Algeria's participation in this event will provide a unique opportunity to showcase Algeria's tourism potential, including its natural, cultural, and scenic assets, and to promote the diversity of its national tourism products, particularly the distinctive Saharan tourism product. It will also strengthen cooperation and facilitate agreements for partnership in the field of tourism exchange.

In this context, the National Tourism Office (ONT) secured a dedicated pavilion to host the Algerian pavilion, which was equipped and designed according to a vision highlighting the diversity and richness of Algeria's tourism destination, with the provision of various modern communication tools and equipment supporting promotion, marketing, and outreach, enabling tourism stakeholders to present their products and services under optimal conditions.

It should be noted that the previous edition of this salon featured more than 782 exhibitors representing 118 countries, welcoming over 72,273 visitors, covering a total exhibition area of 28,656 square meters, reflecting the growing international significance of this prominent tourism event.
