Hello to you all.....
On the first day of the visit by the delegation from the German Tour and Travel Organizers Association DRV.
The first stop was a visit to Algiers, where the delegation had the opportunity to learn about some of the tourism features of the region. The visit began with the Kasbah, one of the historical landmarks designated by UNESCO, which includes remnants of a fortress, ancient mosques, Ottoman palaces, as well as traditional urban buildings.
The second stop was a visit to the African Lady Church
The building was constructed in 1872 by the French architect "Frojou" who adopted the Byzantine style. Its name comes from "Sister African Black" named "Marguerite Bégré" who arrived in Algeria in 1836 together with the bishop "Bavi" from Lyon, France, to build the first "Church of the Virgins" on African soil.
The third site was the Palace of the Raïs of the Sea, built in the 16th century and is a genuine Algerian ziria-style palace, inscribed by UNESCO along with the old city quarter.
The fourth stop was a visit to the Martyrs’ Memorial, one of Algeria’s most prominent memorials honoring the victorious Algerian Revolution, and the Garden of Experiments, built in 1832, which is the largest diverse botanical garden in Africa, housing a large number of plant and tree species from around the world.
The delegation expressed its admiration for the tourist and architectural diversity of Algiers, which holds a key position in our national tourism programs.
