Continued participation of the Office in the eighth edition of Cirta 2026

The National Tourism Office, together with about 50 local and international exhibitors, will participate in the activities of the eighth edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair, Cirta Tourism 2026, organized under the theme "Investment and Tourism as a Driver of National Economy," at the Marriott Hotel in Constantine from June 15 to 17, 2026.

The Office's pavilion witnessed, on the first day of the event, a visit by Mr. Abdelhak Sidi, Governor of Constantine Province, who listened to presentations on the Office's operational programs and various initiatives aimed at enhancing Algeria's tourism potential and promoting its diverse tourism assets.

The Pavilion also witnessed a significant influx of visitors, tourism operators, and professionals, reflecting the growing interest in Algeria as a tourist destination. The Office took this opportunity to encourage citizens and families to choose Algeria for their summer holiday, while promoting the awareness campaign for the 2026 summer holiday season, highlighting the importance of domestic tourism and its role in supporting the local economy.

The current tourism sector trends were also highlighted, aiming to diversify Algeria's national tourism offerings and promote various tourism profiles throughout the year, especially mountain, desert, cultural, and nomadic tourism, thus contributing to making tourism a sustainable economic activity beyond seasonal constraints and enhancing Algeria's status as a comprehensive, year-round destination.
