Within the framework of the National Tourism Office's (ONT) efforts to promote Algeria's tourism and cultural assets, the Office is participating in the International Fair for Traditional Industries in its 26th edition, through a dedicated exhibition booth highlighting Algerian tourist destinations and showcasing the richness of our national heritage.
Today, Ms Houria Meddahi, Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, presided over the opening of this edition, where she emphasized in her opening speech the efforts made by the ministry to enhance traditional craftsmanship and promote the status of traditional industries in the national economic development.
This hall features broad participation from artisans and institutions under the supervision and supporting bodies, in a space that unites creativity, heritage, and innovation.
We invite you all to discover our authentic heritage and the craftsmanship of Algerian artisans, alongside artisans from 11 friendly and neighboring countries.
