The Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport urges all parents to exercise the highest levels of vigilance, and to accompany and constantly supervise their children, especially during the summer season, when they are present in aquatic areas such as wadis, dams, and irrigation reservoirs.
And we note that these spaces pose a real danger to children's safety, due to their depth and the difficulty in assessing their risks.
In this regard, please advise parents:
Do not leave children unattended near these areas
Swimming is prohibited in unprepared areas therefore
Their accompaniment and awareness of the risks associated with these sites
Protecting lives is a collective responsibility and remains everyone's top priority.
