May God bless you in the morning.....
Events of the Tourism and Handicrafts Week continue at the Algerian Pavilion, where notable success was achieved during the global event Buzaka Consa - Japan, with participation from key institutions in the sector: the National Office of Tourism (ONT), the National Algerian Office of Tourism (ONAT), the Hotel, Tourism, and Metal Bath Complex (GHTT), the National Office for Traditional Crafts (ANART), the Traditional Crafts and Artisans Association for the Algiers Region (CAM Algiers), and the Algeria Tourism and Travel Association (Touring Voyages Algérie) and artisans.
A number of visitors from various nationalities, especially Japanese, have flocked to Algeria as a tourism destination to discover its cultural assets, as well as various traditional handicrafts and Algerian traditional clothing, which have gained significant popularity and attracted visitor interest. Within a comprehensive exhibition celebrating the rich heritage of Algeria, visitors experienced a unique cultural journey. To deepen the experience, visitors were provided with postal cards bearing quick-response (QR) codes that link to live workshops demonstrating key stages of traditional artisan production: from ceramics and textiles to wood carving, traditional attire, and copper crafts, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for the audience. This reflects the sector's vision of balancing modernity with the preservation of authenticity, and reinforcing Algeria's position as a leading global cultural and tourism destination.
A celebratory gathering was also organized at the Pavilion in commemoration of Algeria's Independence Day.
July 5, under the leadership of Mr. Abdelhak Boughandour, Governor of Algeria, the exhibition gathered members of the Algerian delegation and members of the Algerian community residing in Japan, as well as visitors to the Pavilion, presenting traditional dishes and sweets.
And took the occasion to present a musical performance by the "Happy Generations" group from Ghardaïa province on the prestigious stage, where the audience enjoyed a diverse range of musical pieces showcasing the cultural vibrancy of Algeria, which drew strong engagement and attracted visitors from various nationalities.
Honor and immortality for our noble martyrs
Algeria lived a free and independent.
