Participation of the Minister of Tourism in the opening of Global Africa Tech 2026

Ms. MyHoorie, Minister of Tourism and Industry, participated in the official opening ceremony of "Global Africa Take 2026" event, hosted in our country at the "Abdel Latif Rhal International Conference Center" from March 28 to 30, 2026, under the supervision of Prime Minister Mr. Sifi Gharib, under the theme "All Networks, One Convergence".

This regional meeting, organized under the distinguished patronage of the #PresidentOfTheRepublic, with the participation of government officials and high-level official delegations from several African countries, representatives from regional and international institutions, as well as a distinguished group of digital innovators and experts, holds increasing significance on both regional and global stages.

It also provided an opportunity to receive the strategic vision of the #PresidentOfTheRepublic, aimed at reinforcing Algeria's position in the digital field on the African continent through supporting digital transformation and promoting regional integration among African countries.

Its objectives focus on strengthening #DigitalSovereignty and narrowing the gap between African countries by developing integrated communication systems that support economic growth and keep pace with global technological changes.

In conclusion, the strategic objective in the African continent is to achieve digital integration through "close cooperation and fruitful partnerships to ensure a sovereign and integrated communication infrastructure".
