The activities of the HORECA EXPO Algeria 2026 hotel and restaurant equipment fair have been concluded today, following days of intense activity and professional engagement.
The pavilion dedicated to the National Tourism Office (ONT), alongside the Algerian National Tourism Institute (ONAT), attracted a significant number of both the general public and professionals throughout the event, with promotional materials and promotional tools distributed to introduce the diverse tourism resources available in our country.
On the occasion of this event, the National Tourism Office (ONT) participated in the interactive program "Les Panels d’HORECA," contributing to the day dedicated to the theme "When Algeria Exports," through a presentation titled:
Promoting Algeria as a destination through cooking and Algerian identity abroad.
This intervention focused on presenting the key axes of Algeria's National Strategy for promoting Algerian cooking as a significant tourism and cultural component, and as an effective element in attracting tourists and enhancing Algeria's tourism appeal on the international stage.
The interactive session featured rich discussions and idea exchanges, resulting in several recommendations, with participation from Algerian chefs living abroad alongside professionals and stakeholders in the sector.
