The official opening ceremony of the International Tourism Fair Mitt Moscow 2025 took place today and will run until March 20, with the presence of Algeria's Ambassador to Russia, Mr. Boudoum Bouden, and tourism sector officials from Russia, including Rosprom, the Federal Tourism Agency's representative, as well as ambassadors from several countries: Uzbekistan, Jordan, Armenia, Turkey, Tunisia, Malaysia, Cuba, and Venezuela.
Algeria's participation in this international event embodies the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts' program of action concerning the promotion of Algeria's tourist destinations, through regular participation in international tourism events, considering the Russian market as a promising one within the sector's strategy.
The National Tourism Office (ONT), accompanied by the Algerian National Tourism Institute, the Algerian Hospitality Association, and a number of private tourism agencies and tour operators, participated in this edition, during which the Algerian Pavilion was visited by His Excellency the Ambassador of Algeria to Russia, who praised Algeria's involvement in this important tourism event and held an extended conversation with members of the Algerian delegation regarding ways to increase Russian tourist flow to Algeria, and emphasized the importance of our diplomatic representatives providing the best possible image of our country.
