The National Tourism Office (ONT) pavilion at the Algerian Tourism Festival witnessed a significant influx of professionals and the public on the third and final day of the event, offering a unique opportunity to showcase Algeria's tourism potential through various promotional initiatives.

In the context of strengthening international tourism cooperation, the Pavilion received a number of official and diplomatic personalities, including Mr. Ahmed Bakir, Commercial Sales Director at the Jordanian Royal Airlines and Chairman of the Tourism Promotion Authority, who emphasized the importance of developing cooperation with the National Tourism Office for joint promotion of Jordanian and Algerian tourism destinations, expressing great admiration for the tourism potential of our country.

The arrival of His Excellency the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Algeria, Mr. Vusumuzi Ntonga, who emphasized the importance of regional cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the tourism sector, confirming his country's participation in the International Tourism and Travel Fair (Sitev) 2026.

The salon featured lectures on digital marketing strategies, alongside practical workshops covering online ticket booking and the impact of digital services on the hotel and restaurant sectors.

This event featured more than 230 models from Algeria and several countries, including Tunisia, Turkey, Egypt, Spain, Belgium, and Zimbabwe, attracting over 16,000 visitors.

The salon created a significant space for meeting and exploring partnership and cooperation opportunities among various stakeholders in the tourism sector, during which several agreements were signed between airlines and maritime shipping companies, tourism and travel agencies, as well as hotel equipment institutions, thereby contributing to the promotion and development of Algeria's tourism destination.
