In continuation of implementing the tourism and traditional handicrafts sector strategy, particularly its international promotion component, and in the framework of enhancing Algeria's presence as a distinctive tourist destination in emerging tourism markets, Algeria, through the National Tourism Office in collaboration with a delegation of tourism operators, will participate in the 12th edition of the International Tourism Fair PLACE 2 GO, taking place in Zagreb, Croatia, from 28 to 30 March 2025, in coordination and cooperation with our diplomatic mission in Zagreb.
Note: This is the second Algerian participation in the Croatian market, following Algeria's role as guest of honor in 2023, when the Algeria as a tourism destination attracted visitor interest and provided travel and tour agencies with an opportunity to establish business relationships with their foreign counterparts for organizing discovery trips to Algeria. Croatian media outlets also played a role in covering the event and promoting the Algerian tourism destination through articles and feature reports.
